Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a small critical access hospital covering ER, acute, and LTC areas, requiring an active HI RN license and at least two years of ED experience.

Details

Small critical access hospital with no separate units; RNs cover ER, acute, and LTC areas as needed
If assigned to ER with no patients, RN provides backup support in acute and LTC areas
If assigned to meds, RN passes medications and performs procedures for LTC and acute patients
Facility is not latex-free
Uses EPIC EMR
Schedule of 6 x 12-hour shifts totaling 72 hours in a two-week period with every 3rd weekend off
Holiday coverage required

Requirements

Active HI RN license required by start of assignment
Minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience required

Additional Information

Must arrive on the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment the following Friday
Do not accept a start date if unable to meet this arrival requirement
