Description

American Traveler is hiring a Level III NICU RN for night shift with 2+ years of NICU experience and required NRP certification.

Details

• Level III NICU unit providing care for neonates 22+ weeks gestation, excluding surgeries and ECMO cases
• 1:3 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May float to Bryn Mawr Campus
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in IV therapy, central and umbilical line care, and neonatal medication administration
• Experience with ventilator management, oxygen delivery systems, and respiratory distress care
• Competency in high-risk delivery attendance, APGAR scoring, and developmental care
• Experience with neonatal sepsis workup and isolation precautions

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive care to neonates ranging from under 24 weeks to over 34 weeks gestational age
• Perform procedures including UAC/UVC management, phototherapy, and gavage feedings
• Support high-risk deliveries and assist with lumbar punctures as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO requests subject to manager discretion
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
