Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac/Telemetry Med-Surg position requiring at least 3 years of telemetry experience and current Epic proficiency.
Details
- Primarily assigned to the Cardiac unit with occasional floating to Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
- 36 hours per week on day shift (7a - 7:30p)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (OH or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
- Must be able to competently read telemetry strips and will be tested on this skill on day one
- Current, demonstrable Epic EMR proficiency required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care within a cardiac/telemetry focused Med-Surg environment
- Holiday coverage required
- Candidates unable to pass the telemetry competency test or demonstrate Epic proficiency will be terminated
