Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience to treat a diverse patient population including geriatric patients in a single-location outpatient clinic.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy setting at a single location
- Treats 8-10 patients per day
- Patient population includes general orthopedic, neuro, BPPV, vestibular, and fall-risk cases with a large geriatric population
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, with shifts typically 8 hours between 0700 and 1730
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- Works alongside PTAs and Rehab Techs, reporting to the Director
Requirements
- Active PT license required, if applicable
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- EMR charting experience required
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
Additional Information
- Department-specific orientation provided, including facility environment, processes, and EMR training
- Dress code includes burgundy scrub top and bottom or burgundy polo shirt with dark pants
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-associated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year; PRN work through outside staffing firms is acceptable
