Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Main OR Circulator position requiring a minimum of 2 years of full-time OR circulating experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Main OR Circulator role handling all surgical specialties except cardiac, neuro, and spine cases
• Day shift schedule 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no scheduled days off
• On-call responsibilities average one weeknight per week and one weekend per month (Friday-Sunday)
• May float to the Surgery Center OR during low census or as needed
• Facility-laundered scrubs provided, with call room access available if needed

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time OR circulating experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS (CNOR preferred)
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers with required experience are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Required to work 3 of the 5 winter holidays
• RTO requests should be minimized and factored into total contract length
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with zero tolerance for positive results
