Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring a strong cardiac background and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown unit
• Cardiac and CVA patient population
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
• Manages cardiac and vasoactive drips including heparin and nitro

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response
• Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips required
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips preferred

Additional Information

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to accepting an offer
