Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of X-Ray OR experience and ARRT and BLS certification.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center hospital setting within the Imaging department
• Afternoon shift, 5x8 hour shifts totaling 40 hours guaranteed
• Every other weekend required
• Possible on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray OR experience required
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• Michigan license required if applicable
• Traveler experience preferred

Additional Information

• Coordinates and participates in imaging procedures, including patient positioning, contrast administration, and image capture
• Assists Radiologists and other physician specialists with specialized radiological procedures
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and provides basic emergency care as needed
• Maintains equipment calibration, image quality, and department cleanliness standards
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of separation
