Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week Days assignment requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of Med Surg experience.

Details

• Med Surg / Med Surg-Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• 1:5-6 patient ratio
• Days shift, 3x12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM-7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float across all campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, Muscatine)
• May float to the Stepdown unit as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
• IA RN license also required, or proof of application for IA single-state or compact license
• At least 2 years of previous Med Surg experience required
• Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Work history/resume required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required
• License verification required
• Copies of required certifications required
• One supervisory reference required, from within 2 years of employment/contract

Additional Information

• Contribute professional/clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team providing patient care
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
