Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level II Trauma Center requiring WI or compact RN license and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center, preferred experience at a Level I Trauma Center
• Combined adult/pediatric ER patient population
• Evening 12-hour shifts (1500-0330), including weekends and holidays
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required as needed

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA only), and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years
• Epic EMR experience required, within past 12 months preferred
• At least 1 prior travel assignment (minimum 6 months) required, extensions highly preferred
• Must pass a telemetry exam (adult and pediatric) prior to starting, with up to two attempts allowed

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care across a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and psychiatric emergencies
• Skilled care includes IV therapy, central line management, blood product administration, and EKG interpretation
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and dysrhythmias
• Perform triage and apply isolation precautions/PPE as needed
• Experience with orthopedic splinting and trauma management preferred
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Free onsite parking available
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
