Description

American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient MRI Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification for a day shift assignment.

Details

• Outpatient MRI setting at an outpatient center
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, with schedule options of 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 12:15 PM-8:15 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekend or call requirements
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1:1 patient ratio

Requirements

• ARRT MR certification required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills required in abdomen/pelvis imaging including MRA, MRV, MRCP
• Skills required in head and neck imaging including brain, cranial nerves, and face/soft tissue neck
• Skills required in chest and spine imaging including cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, thoracic, and spinal trauma
• Experience with musculoskeletal imaging including foot, hand, hip/pelvis, knee, shoulder, and extremities
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Prior travel experience required

Additional Information

• Not accepting first-time travelers for this role
• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures across abdominal, neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and spinal imaging
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates residing within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted for this position
