Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with EPIC proficiency and a FL or compact license for a fast-paced Emergency Department.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• 1:4 patient ratios
• Day shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 12pm-12am, with variable weekly scheduling
• Required to work approximately 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle, or every other weekend
• Float required as needed within scope, including to sister facilities
• No on-call responsibilities
• Hurricane and holiday coverage required
• Uses EPIC for documentation

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
• CPI and TNCC certifications preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/31-3/31) with medical or religious exemptions only
• Two professional references from an authority figure (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED setting
• Contracted hours guaranteed
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• No mile radius restrictions apply
• Finalized RTO must be submitted upfront and will not be accepted after offer
• Scrubs may be any solid color (no mixing tops/bottoms) with no logos or prints, either self-provided or facility-provided
• Former employees or contracted travelers must wait 1 year after leaving an internal position before reapplying
