Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with a FL or compact license and at least 1 year of ER experience for a fast-paced emergency department position.

Details

• ER unit setting with 1:4 patient ratios
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 11:00 to 23:00
• Every other weekend required, with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle
• Major holiday coverage required based on department's assigned holiday
• On-call required as needed
• Float required to all 4 facility locations
• Uses EPIC documentation system

Requirements

• Active FL State or compact RN license required at time of consideration, pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC required; CPI preferred
• 2 professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/31-3/31) with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide emergency department nursing care across a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Scrubs must be a solid color with matching top and bottom, no logos or prints; candidates may provide their own or wear facility-provided scrubs
• Finalized RTO must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be accepted after an offer is made
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Previous employees or contracted travelers must wait 1 year after leaving an internal contracted position before reapplying
