Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and comfort treating both adult and pediatric ICU patients.

Details

• Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting
• Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics-RRT unit
• Night shift, 4x12 hour shifts from 18:00 to 6:00
• Every other weekend required, holidays required
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs required, including to sister campus depending on booking
• No on-call requirement
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RRT license required (License required if applicable)
• State or compact license required, pending license not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric ICU patients
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital environment
• Solid black or black and white scrub color required
• Maximum 4 days of RTO allowed, no holiday RTO accepted
• Only 1 holiday may be approved for time off
• Returning travelers must be gone for 1 year before returning to this facility
• Local candidates not accepted within 50-mile radius of main campus
• Call-off policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week assignment before guaranteed hours are affected
• Any callout for scheduled shifts requires a makeup shift as determined by the department
