Description
American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience treating spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting
- Patient population includes all levels of spinal cord injury/disorders and neurological disorders or similar presentations
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- One weekend per month required, as scheduled
- Holiday coverage required as they fall, as scheduled
- No floating required
- No on-call required
- Uses specialized equipment including Hoyer lifts, overhead lifts, and body weight supported devices
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- MD license required (if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with spinal cord injury and neurological patient populations preferred
