Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support minimally invasive, image-guided procedures requiring ARRT certification and MA state licensure.
Details
- 13-week assignment in the IR division at a large academic medical center in Boston
- Covers clinical areas including IR, CT-guided procedures, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Hybrid procedures, Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Endoscopic interventions
- Shift schedule from 07:30 to 18:00
- Supports diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis access/fistula work, and Y90/SIRT
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification required
- Valid Massachusetts State Radiography License required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- License required if applicable
- Experience with neuro, cardiac, or vascular surgery procedures needed
- Runs imaging equipment, performs sterile scrub, and circulates cases in radiology and OR settings
Additional Information
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, advanced practice providers, attending physicians, residents, and tech assistants
- Works within a large, dynamic IR division offering a cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility to be eligible for the local (non-travel) rate
