Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a Level 1 trauma center, requiring BLS, ARRT certification, and prior high-acuity trauma experience.

Details

• Level 1 trauma center X-Ray department
• Covers OR, ED, inpatient, and portable imaging
• Assigned to a department daily but expected to float as needed
• Works with pediatric and neonatal patients
• Performs competency check-offs for students
• Operates radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment from GE, Phillips, and CareStream
• Uses Epic and Sectra EMR systems
• 10-hour night shifts, 4 shifts per week
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Deferred schedule type; block scheduling generally not approved

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiography program
• Minimum 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma center or 2-3 years at a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility
• Proven success working in high-pressure, high-volume trauma environments
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced trauma situations
• Must be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging
• Mask fit testing required
