Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse-Hospice case manager for a home health setting, requiring hospice experience and a VA or compact RN license.

Details

Home health hospice case manager role
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No on-call responsibilities
Floating may be requested based on facility needs

Requirements

Active VA RN license in hand or proof of compact license required at time of consideration
Hospice experience required within the home health setting
Specialty experience required within the last year
BLS certification required, must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Additional Information

Serve as a hospice case manager providing home health care
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate
Local candidates accepted at the same base rate
Prior permanent employees must have a 6-month gap before returning as a traveler
Requests for time off should be minimal, ideally none during the assignment and no more than 7 days total, submitted with the initial application
