Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring WA State/Compact licensure and NRP/FHM certifications.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 36 hrs/week, 1845-0645
- No on-call responsibilities
- Must float as a sitter and may float in rotation
Requirements
- Active WA State or Compact RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and FHM
- Must function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
Additional Information
- Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards
- Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
- Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Perform ongoing holistic patient assessments and respond appropriately
- Provide patient and family education on relevant health information
- Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
- Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff per hospital policy
