Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience to treat a caseload of Orthopedic and Neuro patients.

Details

• Outpatient setting with approximately 80% Orthopedic and 20% Neuro patients
• Evaluations conducted at a 1:1 ratio; follow-up treatments typically at a 2:1 ratio, except high acuity Neuro patients seen 1:1
• Up to 3 evaluations per day with all patients seen on the hour for one-hour sessions
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm, 8-hour shifts
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active state or compact PT license required for the state of submission; license required if applicable
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

• Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic and neuro setting
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Candidates must not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity Health, within the past year
