Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with active MA licensure and 1+ years of home care experience for a 13-week assignment providing in-home patient care across the South Region.

Details

Home health setting providing physical therapy to patients in their place of residence
Patient population ranges from birth to over 100 years old
Coverage area includes Allston, Belmont, Brighton, Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Newton, Watertown, Framingham, Waltham, Wellesley, Westwood, and surrounding communities
Shift schedule 08:00-16:30 with weekend rotations once every 6 weeks
Requires travel between patient homes across assigned territory
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts required (license required if applicable)
Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
Ability to travel to patient homes as assigned
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
AHA-issued certifications only

Additional Information

Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to coordinate care
Provide thorough and timely electronic documentation in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice
Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Boston to be considered local
