Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring prior travel experience and a TN or compact license.
Details
- 21-bed ICU unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratios of 1-2
- Adult patient population (18+) including ARDS/pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock cases
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Weekend shifts required
- Unit creates the staff schedule
- Float to Stepdown/ER as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active TN RN license or compact license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Navy scrubs required
- Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
- Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
- Orientation dates limited to 11/30 or 12/7
