Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring 3+ years of experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit with floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Occasional critical care patient care required
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS preferred
• Two supervisory references required
• Copy of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Comfortable managing occasional critical care patients within a Med/Surg setting
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with no requests during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Any time off must be approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment
• Some holiday coverage expected
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at local rate
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 5 years to be eligible
