Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in Southwest Oklahoma, requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and an OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Radiology Vascular unit of a full-service Cath Lab providing complete cardiac and peripheral services
• Team includes Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon
• Procedures performed include Left and Right Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, carotid diagnostic and stenting, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemaker insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy
• Uses Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices, two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
• Uses McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
• Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts per week
• On-call required 7 days per month, not consecutive, covering evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• 36 hours guaranteed per week

Requirements

• Active OK State RN license or compact license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIH certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Recent traveler experience preferred
• Proficiency monitoring patients in the Cath Lab using laser systems, IVUS, OCT, and atherectomy devices
• Proficiency monitoring LEXISCAN Stress Test

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include monitoring patients during cardiac and peripheral procedures, assisting in pre and post areas, transporting patients, and other assigned duties
• Local candidates within 50 miles will be considered at a reduced rate
• Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after their former employment ended
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
