Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Fetal Heart Monitoring and NRP certification on night shift.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts on a 36 or 48 hour weekly basis
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Floating required to Delano facility as needed
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- ACLS certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
- NRP certification required (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS)
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide safe and compassionate care
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
- RTO requests are limited to 5 days or fewer for consideration
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
- Candidates with prior licensure actions will not be considered
