Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN OR Circulator for a Surgical Services position requiring CA RN licensure and 2-3 years of OR experience.

Details

• Works within the Surgical Services Department providing professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum
• Supervises and coordinates care planning with other disciplines
• Day shift schedule, 4x10s from 0700-1630, Monday through Thursday
• On-call responsibilities required
• Frequently uses computers, monitors, glucometers, IV/PCA/epidural pumps, and blanket warmers

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• 2-3 years of OR experience required
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association, recertified every two years
• ACLS certification required within six months of employment, recertified every two years
• CNOR, PANAC, or AAOPU credentials preferred
• No prior adverse license actions permitted

• Provides circulating nursing care in the operating room setting
• Part of the Adventist Health network
• Must comply with HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations
• Category 1 potential exposure to blood and body fluids
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Can only be actively submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
