Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Float Pool position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Float Pool unit requiring coverage of both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
• Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum two years of specialty experience required
• No prior license actions permitted

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
• Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues
• Develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and evaluates patient outcomes
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
• Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
• Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
• Required vaccinations per organizational policy, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction, and local rates match travel rates
