Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Telemetry for a night shift Float Pool position requiring Epic experience and the ability to float between Med-Surg and Telemetry units.

Details

• Float Pool unit requiring flexibility across Med-Surg and Telemetry departments
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36-48 hours per week
• Requires Epic EMR experience
• Must be able to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No candidates with prior license actions considered

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for an assigned patient group
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care planning
• Implement care plans and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide safe and effective care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education as part of care delivery
• Required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• No radius rule applies; local candidates receive the same rate as travelers
• Candidates may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
