Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, requiring 1+ year of experience and an active PT license.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy unit
- Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Weekend coverage as needed with advanced notice
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation required
- Previous IRF experience highly recommended
- State PT license required if applicable, or license from a participating state in the PT Compact
- BLS certification required (AHA, not expiring prior to start)
- QI credentialing preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required
Additional Information
- Responsible for patient evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
- Supervises physical therapy assistants, aides, office staff, and students
- Communicates with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding patient care and goals
- Participates in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives, including equipment operation and clinical outcome tracking
- May assist with department operations such as scheduling, mentoring, and supply management
- Returning Intermountain employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
