Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Home Health with OASIS and HCHB experience for a 13-week assignment serving geriatric patients.

Details

• Home health setting providing care to geriatric patients
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• 30 points weekly productivity requirement
• No on-call responsibilities, though on-call rotation may be discussed during interview
• Territory coverage up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Traveler must remain flexible with assigned territory

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent home health experience required
• OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care (SOC)
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required

Additional Information

• Provide skilled home health nursing care to geriatric patients
• Timely documentation and communication with the care team required
• Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted
• iPad provided for documentation; personal cell phone not required
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Monday orientation required, including completion of billable training modules
• Hospice/Home Health checklist completion mandatory
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned an individual territory and must have their own transportation
• Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
