Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring CRRT training and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Neuro ICU (7South 4/5) of a large, busy Level 1 Trauma acute care hospital
• 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend (EOW) required
• No self-scheduling; candidates must be flexible with scheduling
• Floating required, with this unit being first to float
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with Neuro ICU experience required
• CRRT trained required
• Prior travel experience and experience in a high-acuity, busy hospital setting preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to neurologically complex ICU patients
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
