Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department role requiring 2+ years of ED experience and active MI licensure.

Details

Emergency Department setting providing around-the-clock emergent care
10-bed unit treating patients from newborn to geriatric
Patient ratio of 4:1
Uses Paragon EMR
Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
36-hour weekly guarantee
Weekend shifts required
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active MI RN license required at time of submission
Compact license not accepted
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC

Additional Information

Coordinate total nursing care for ED patients including assessment, treatment, and family education
Collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to maintain professional nursing standards
Uphold ANA Code for Nurses and adhere to Michigan Public Health Code and MIOSHA regulations
Dress code requires blue scrubs
No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment
Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers
