Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (VI) certification to support vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures.
Details
- Work in interventional radiology, OR 28, and neuro-interventional suite settings
- Support vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures
- Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations
- Function as scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist in single- and biplane environments
- Assist with sheath insertion, groin sealant, and patient stabilization
- Perform adult diagnostic angiography, guidewire and catheter-based procedures, and percutaneous biopsies
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Neuro lab call coverage approximately one week every four weeks
- Backup call coverage of approximately 2-4 additional days per month
- Total call commitment of approximately 9-11 days per month
- Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of call notification
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA Council on Education-approved radiologic technology program, or RCIS credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- ARRT (VI) certification required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular cases required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary procedural team
- Follow all radiation safety policies and procedures for patients, coworkers, and self
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates not permitted
- Contracts end on a Tuesday due to the facility's Wednesday-Tuesday pay period
