Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a Level I Adult/Level II Pediatric Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT (R) certification and acute care imaging experience.

Details

  • Acute care teaching hospital setting with 641 licensed beds, designated Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
  • Work across ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR settings
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Floating to other units/campuses required based on census, limited to qualified and trained areas
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active SCRQSA license required if applicable
  • ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years experience preferred; 1 year accepted with full-time Level 1 trauma and Children's Hospital experience including OR and fluoroscopic study experience
  • Level I and Level II Trauma experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
  • Skilled in bedside/portable X-ray, trauma imaging, C-arm procedures, and fluoroscopic studies such as barium swallow/esophagram
  • Able to perform all aspects of X-ray independently
  • Ability to adapt to equipment-specific training as needed

Additional Information

  • Perform imaging across adult acute care, trauma, and pediatric settings including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR
  • Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance requirements
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
