Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) for a night shift position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring 3+ years of acute care experience and ventilator proficiency.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital setting with 24/7 emergency care
• Respiratory Therapy unit serving ED, inpatient, and transport-to-tertiary-care patients
• Typical therapist to patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 4x12hr shifts (Wednesday - Saturday), 6:00 PM-6:00 AM, 48hrs/week
• Every weekend work required
• No on-call requirements
• Compact license accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current acute care experience required
• High degree of proficiency working with ventilators
• HHN, BiPAP & CPAP experience required
• Active BLS certification (AHA)
• Active NBRC or CRT certification
• NH RCP licensure required; will accept temporary license with willingness to apply at time of offer (license required if applicable)
• Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required
• Respiratory Therapist skills checklist required

Additional Information

• Will accept RRT or CRT candidates
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Dress code: scrubs (any color, no denim), closed-toe shoes, no perfume or cologne
