Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift position requiring CRRT/IABP experience in a 20-bed medical ICU.

Details

• 20-bed medical ICU setting with 2:1 patient ratios
• Care for patients with cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, stroke, and post-surgical needs
• Provides continuous dialysis (CRRT) and supports invasive bedside procedures
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 3x12 (36 hours/week)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• CRRT and IABP experience required
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety devices
• Last 4 digits of SSN and MM/DD of date of birth required for consideration

• Deliver holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across all phases of the nursing process
• Perform comprehensive assessments, care planning, and coordination with the interprofessional team
• Facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges, including discharge teaching and case management coordination
• Delegate and oversee care tasks performed by other team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and core measures tracking
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower pay rate
