Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CO or compact RN license and BLS certification for night shifts.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Schedule consists of 3x12hr night shifts, 1900 to 0700, weeknights only
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients
• Perform health teaching and counseling, and monitor treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Background check and drug screening required, with results typically taking at least 2 weeks
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
