Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC certification and 2 years of trauma/stroke/chest pain experience.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Department
• Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 10-room unit with 19 beds/chairs
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Trauma, stroke, and chest pain patient population
• Uses MEDHOST EMR
• No call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No 48-hour work weeks
• Royal blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Emergency Department
• Trauma, stroke, and chest pain care experience required

Additional Information

• Travel experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and limited to less than one week
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates who worked at this health system as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
