Description

American Traveler is seeking an RRT Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring NC Respiratory License and 5+ years of experience.

Details

• Respiratory Services department within a large acute care hospital
• Adult, NICU, and Pediatric service lines covered by the unit
• Patient ratios ranging from 10 to 25
• Equipment includes GE R860 Adult ventilators, Draeger Infant/Peds ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilator, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Cerner EMR used for charting
• Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Varying weekends required, at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating required to all Critical Care units and floors

Requirements

• Active RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required
• North Carolina Respiratory License required if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Scrub color requirement is Medium Gray/Pewter
• Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III NICU setting
• Includes a dedicated children's hospital with pediatric emergency services
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates not accepted, 50 mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
