Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a night shift radiology position requiring 1-3 years of experience and NJ RT licensure.

Details

• Radiology department in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating 7-week schedule
• 3 shifts per week, 39 hours per week
• On-call required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Potential to float to a sister hospital nearby

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography school
• NJ State RT license required if applicable
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Familiarity with current trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics
• Strong problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Additional Information

• Perform imaging and treatment procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures and monitor need for procedure revisions
• Accepts local candidates at a lower rate
• Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year before requiring a break prior to a new assignment
