Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week assignment in Flint, MI.
Details
- Imaging department setting
- Day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working 3 of 4 days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No scrub color requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years X-Ray experience required
- ARRT certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Compact license not accepted
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include explaining procedures, positioning patients, and using lead shielding for radiation protection
- Operate X-ray equipment and adjust technical factors such as voltage and current to produce clear images
- Review images for diagnostic quality and retake as necessary
- Follow ALARA safety procedures, sanitize equipment, and perform routine maintenance
- Maintain patient records and document procedures
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
- Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers
