Description
American Traveler is hiring a flexible RN for an Operating Room position covering multiple service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics.
Details
- Operating Room unit supporting multiple service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics surgeries
- 13-week assignment with a 09:00-21:30 shift schedule
- Weekend rotation required
- On-call participation required as scheduled
Requirements
- Active RN license (SC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
- Nursys verification required within 30 days of start
- Comfortable performing circulating duties efficiently across varied surgical specialties
Additional Information
- Assess patient needs and deliver nursing interventions consistent with physician-prescribed plans of care
- Complete Safe Surgery checklist verification per service excellence standards
- Prep operating room and position patients for procedures
- Serve as communication liaison between surgical team and patient families
- Delegate and supervise team activities while responding to urgent or emergent situations
- Assist with control and maintenance of OR supplies and equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care
