Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2+ years of PACU experience, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Work in the PACU unit of a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital's Surgical Services department
- 6-bed unit with mostly 1:1 patient ratios
- Patient population is mostly adults with occasional pediatric patients
- Uses Space Labs monitors and Paragon EHR
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Thursday
- Weekend hours only required with call
- Call requirements include 4 call shifts per month with one weekend of call
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
