Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a critical access hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting within a critical access hospital
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (6:45 AM-5:00 PM), with flexibility for 8-hour shifts
• No weekend shifts required
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI cards not accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Experience with orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patient populations preferred
• Skilled in assessment, documentation, modalities, and therapeutic exercise techniques
• Experience with adaptive and assistive devices, gait training, and manual therapy techniques preferred

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric caseloads
• Facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital
• Grey scrub color required
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Previous perm or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• Time off requests should be discussed directly with the manager
