Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring recent specialty experience and NRP certification.
Details
- Work in the Special Care Nurseries/NICU unit of a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, with schedule varying between 7PM-7:30AM
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the NICU specialty required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients
- Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
