Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience to treat neuro, ortho, and medically complex patients.
Details
- Outpatient PT setting at an acute care hospital
- Treats neuro/ortho and medically complex patient populations
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 or 5x8 hours, no weekdays off but some Saturdays required
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic for charting
- 15-week assignment length
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience required
- BLS certification required
- AK PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Epic charting experience required
- 2 references covering 1 year of supervisory experience within the last 3 years required

- Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility recognized as a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
- Scrubs provided by facility
- Parking is free

- Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
- Returning staff may be considered after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process; post-offer time off requests may not be granted
