Description
American Traveler is hiring a PICU RN for a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center requiring PICU experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Pediatric ICU of a children's hospital that serves as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
- Self-scheduling required with 3 consecutive or split 12-hour shifts per week
- Variable weekend requirement
- Float requirement to Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU units
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
- PICU experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Navy scrub color required for RNs
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space with bike racks available
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
- All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state system
