Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, requiring 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

  • Pediatrics unit within a Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
  • Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Patient ratios of 1:3-5
  • Floating required between units and between facilities within the state
  • On-call required based on unit census
  • Weekend shifts required (5 shifts within a 6 week period)

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • 2 years of RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Pediatric experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Scrub color requirement: Navy for RNs
  • Free parking available in any unrestricted space, with bike racks on site
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Minimal to no RTO accommodated for this position
