Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a Level IV Children's Hospital unit requiring 2+ years of NICU experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Level IV Neonatal ICU within a Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Block scheduling required with self-scheduling for 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
• Patient ratios of 1:2-4
• Floating required between units
• No on-call requirements
• 48-hour work weeks approved
• 13-week assignment with potential for longer contracts available

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• 2+ years of NICU experience required
• Level III NICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this winter block position
• Navy scrub color required for RNs
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with bike racks on site
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
