Description
American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Tele RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and welcoming first-time travelers.
Details
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a short-term acute care hospital with 379 staffed beds
- Neuro telemetry patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)
- Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Floating required between units and between facilities within the state
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- 2 years of recent experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry nursing care to neuro patients within a Level II Trauma Center
- Dress code requires solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal time-off requests accommodated during the assignment
