Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with Level I/II Trauma hospital experience and circulating skills for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- PACU unit in a Level I or II Trauma hospital
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 11:00 AM-9:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call responsibilities required
- Weekend and holiday coverage per departmental rotation
Requirements
- Active FL or Compact RN license required in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS via AHA
- Minimum 3 years recent PACU surgery experience required
- Level I or II Trauma hospital experience required
- Must be able to circulate
- Degree from an accredited school, or an FBON-approved institution with 2 years recent acute care experience required
- Experience must be consecutive within the past 24 months in a US hospital
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass EKG/Basic Arrhythmia assessment
Additional Information
- Provide perianesthesia nursing care including circulating duties in the PACU
- Smoke-free facility
- Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening required, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review
- Proof of vaccination status required with no declinations allowed
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered at a reduced local rate
